Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to oversee the Investment Management function for the group across its portfolio, implementing creative training, marketing and management initiatives which maximise value generation, and contribute to the company’s business and growth plans.  The role will specifically involve leading on the liaison and relationship with investors, introducers and other agents engaged by the group, and in conjunction with Finance developing and improving the operating systems and processes necessary to ensure that high quality information is consistently delivered on a timely basis.

Additionally, you will support the development and operations of the wider group and actively work to help it achieve its goals and objectives.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Client liaison;
  • Liaise with professional third parties;
  • Client updates and documentation, including applications and professional literature;
  • Liaise with clients (Paperwork & AML);
  • Administer interest schedules;
  • Deliver an ongoing programme of client days;
  • Arrange events

Professional Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years business development experience with a proven track record of meeting financial targets
  • Can demonstrate a track record of delivering added value across a variety of investment and development platforms
  • Strong experience of developing and delivering training and presentational programmes
  • Excellent knowledge of market practices
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, other CRM and analytical applications, and ideally other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experienced in producing project and investment presentations and reports.


  • Experience of and highly competent in analysing information, problem solving and producing executive level commentary and reports
  • Strong, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong sense of priorities and results
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong intellect with an aptitude for problem-solving and a tenacity to get things done
  • Strong interpersonal skills, shows initiative and is capable of managing own workload
  • Produces accurate work that they routinely sense check and is detail conscious
  • Highly professional and well presented; is an excellent team player with a ‘can do’ and ‘hands on’ mentality
  • Professional credibility with negotiation and influencing skills.
