Urban Village Group has appointed a highly experienced property specialist as it prepares for a period of sustained growth in 2022.

Graham Haydon-White has joined the company as developments director. He will focus on delivering Urban Village Group’s large-scale build-to-rent developments across the UK. These include phase two of Equipoint in Birmingham, where a further 105 apartments are being built, and Westminster House in Milton Keynes, which has recently gone into planning to provide 237 apartments.

Graham has gained invaluable experience throughout his career as a property developer, having worked client side in a variety of sectors including offices, retail, residential, hotels and, more recently, has helped to deliver over 10,000 units of student accommodation. Having worked as a chartered surveyor and director for companies including Taylor Woodrow Developments, Tesco Spenhill, Ballymore Residential and Tiger Developments, Graham has enjoyed leading award-winning developments in prime locations across the UK and Ireland. He has an extensive knowledge of the complete development process and continues to enjoy the ever-changing dynamics of both the financial and development aspects of the property development industry.

Chief executive Nick Sellman said: “These are exciting times for everyone involved in both Urban Village Group and Urban Village Healthcare. We have very aspirational development objectives and we are looking closely at a multitude of development propositions as we head into 2022. “Graham’s arrival at Urban Village Group clearly demonstrates how ambitious we are to strategically expand our business, and our determination to deliver developments of the very highest quality.

He added: “Graham brings years of experience of working on major projects with some of the best in the business. I am looking forward to working with him as we embark on a period during which we will be delivering numerous developments at sites right across the UK.”

Graham said: “I am delighted to be joining the Urban Village Group team at this exciting stage of the company’s growth and look forward to working with the team to bring forward and deliver major development projects across the UK.”
